Please don't make the mistake of booking a small center console open boat based on price alone because you will quickly find out why they are less expensive while your entire family is sitting huddled and crowded on an open boat with no cover from the weather and no private enclosed restroom facilities! (Just a bucket!)
We are docked at Wanchese Marina which has plenty of free parking for your vehicle when you arrive and professional fish cleaning and packaging available for when we return to the docks. Our marina's grill opens at 6am so you will also be able to have a quick breakfast and coffee before your fish catching excursion begins. With over 20 years of charter fishing experience, the Sea Hag team goes to every effort possible to ensure your friends and family have an exceptional and affordable fish catching adventure. No detail is ever too small when in comes to planning each trip so please call and let us design a charter trip around your exact needs.

Half Day Near Shore or Inshore Fishing Charter - 4 hoursThese four hour near shore or inshore charters are ideal for vacationing families with young anglers as well as folks that just want to enjoy the near shore waters and scenery of the Outer Banks. The sea conditions are always plenty calm in a seaworthy boat like Sea Hag and the educational experiences are as valuable as the fishing success. Methods include trolling and/or bottom fishing for species like spanish mackerel, bluefish, flounder, sea mullet, cobia, drum, and stripper. Charter captain’s choice depending on what is biting. |
3/4 Day Near Shore Fishing Charter - 6 hoursA 3/4 day near shore charter is designed for the more adventurous anglers and groups that want to spend a bit more time on the water. This trip includes everything normally done on a half day near shore charter but we venture out a bit further off the coastline to fish for other species like king mackerel and sharks. |
3/4 Day intermediate Fishing Charter - 6 hoursOur ¾ Day Intermediate Charters may venture from 3 miles offshore to as far as 20 miles deep sea offshore where we can target species such as mahi, king mackerel, and amberjack. We normally either troll or bottom fish depending on weather and water conditions and what has been catching the fish. |
Full Day Intermediate Fishing Charter - 8 hoursOur Full Day Intermediate Charter is designed to go from 3 miles offshore to 20 miles deep sea offshore. But we might go even further offshore depending on the fishing. This charter is mostly trolling, bottom fishing, or deep jigging is also a possibility if the crew wants too. Target species on these trips are mahi, king mackerel, wahoo, sailfish, tuna, and amberjack. |
Full Day Offshore Deep Sea Bottom Fishing - 8 hoursOver recent years our full day eight hour deep sea bottom jigging trips have become very popular. They can be very reliable for catching species such as sea bass, tilefish, amberjack, grouper, etc. and as a bonus we will troll our way back in for mahi, wahoo, and tuna. |
Full Day Offshore Deep Sea Trolling - 8 hoursTrolling is the Outer Banks standard in big game offshore sportfishing which targets such pelagic species as tuna, mahi, wahoo, white and blue marlin and sailfish. |
